The Ko’olauloa Hawaiian Civic Club was founded in 1924 and throughout the years members have continued with preserving and perpetuating Hawaiian language, music and culture. This video tells the story of practitioners, club members, aunties, uncles and kupuna sharing their arts and crafts and stories with the next generation. They have shared their talents and skills with visitors, children from pre-school to seniors with a “hands-on” approach. It is for the love of our culture that we have partnered with other organizations throughout the community on sharing and caring about our heritage.
