In 2007, The Gift of Giving began in Hawaii. It’s a small non-profit organization started by the Long Family and truly created to give to those in need. It’s a dream and a passion to inspire and uplift the down hearted, and support the homeless encouraging them to help themselves out of homelessness. There are many homeless shelters on Oahu, simply chipping away at homelessness each and every day. Our organization is just a little engine and we do what we can, and wish we could do more. Each year, we strive to produce a massive project in Waianae with fellowship, crafts, a Christmas Lunch, hygiene gift bags and of course Christmas gifts for all. We need the support of the community, friends, family, business affiliations and more. Thanks to many supporters who have been with us since the beginning, we are able to give to many entities each Christmas season and work to evolve and grow each year.
